Talk With Us!

We have completed our first round of conversations with Black Wisconsinites! We are excited to share what we’ve learned from what everyone was kind enough to tell us. You can find report(s) from the project here.

We will also be continuing our conversations with Black Wisconsinites in focus groups! A focus group is a group discussion amongst 6-8 individuals. The goal of these focus groups is to more deeply understand your experiences and expand on we learned from community conversations.

If you attended a community conversation, we would love to see you again and hope that you will pass the opportunity on to others!

Upcoming Focus Groups:

  • Tuesday, May 28 from 5:30-7pm at Madison Public Library – Washington Park Branch (2121 N Sherman Blvd, Milwaukee, WI 53208). Register here.

Note: To be eligible to participate in these particular conversations, you must be a Black Wisconsinite. If you are not a Black individual in Wisconsin but are interested in this work — we encourage you to follow the project and stay tuned for information on public share outs, presentations, and discussions.

As a reminder, you can always find out more about the project and previous conversations.
